What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We use them, along with similar technologies such as local storage, to make the service work and to understand how it is used.

Strictly necessary

Sign-in and session: set by our authentication provider Supabase and keep you signed in between page views. The member area does not work without them.

Language and licence preference: remembers which language and which licence you are working in.

Locally stored progress: some study data is kept in your browser so pages load quickly and keep working through a brief loss of connection.

These are required for the service to function and cannot be turned off within it.

Analytics and improvement

Google Analytics 4: aggregated statistics about visits and usage.

Microsoft Clarity: how pages are used — where visitors click and where they get stuck.

Sentry: technical error reports when something breaks, so we can fix it.

These are used to improve the service and require your consent.

Payment

At checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. They are necessary in order to pay.

How to control cookies

The analytics and error-reporting tools load only once you have accepted. Choose Necessary only and they do not run at all.

You can change your mind at any time: use Change cookie settings at the bottom of the page and we will ask again.

You can also delete and block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies means you cannot sign in or save your progress.
